In development · Palm Beach County
A prayer space and community center taking shape in Palm Beach County — open to Muslims, and to neighbors of every faith.
What happens here
Prayer is the anchor. It isn't the whole building. Five days a week this will also be a classroom, a gym, a job fair, and a dining room.
Five daily prayers, Jumu'ah, and a quiet room that stays open through the day.
Arabic and Qur'an for adults, weekend school for kids, evening classes anyone can sit in on.
A gym open five nights a week, mentorship, game nights, family days by the water.
Resume clinics with local recruiters, a job board, a monthly table for people running their own businesses.
Potlucks, neighborhood meetings, Eid celebrations, and a hall any family can book.
Open houses, shared meals, standing invitations to the churches and synagogues around us.
Everyone is welcome
You don't have to be Muslim to walk in.
The site
You park, you cross the courtyard, and you pass people on the way in — whether you came for Maghrib, for a class, or to drop your kid at basketball.
A two-acre site in Palm Beach County, with the shared ground at the centre of it. That's the whole idea of the building — and it's why we're raising money for architecture and permits before anything else.

Express interestSadaqah jāriyah — giving that keeps giving
Every dollar right now goes to architectural design and county permits — the work that has to happen before anyone can break ground.
Shukr Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Zakat-eligible funds — the obligatory annual giving in Islam — are held and distributed separately. EIN 00-0000000 · placeholder.
Major gifts & endowment
Naming opportunities, endowment gifts, zakat-designated funds, and in-kind contributions — land, materials, or professional services — are handled personally, not through a form.
If you're considering a significant gift, talk to us directly. We'll walk you through the budget, the phasing, and exactly where your contribution would sit.
